Oppo Reno 13 series key specs tipped

According to a recent Weibo post by DCS, the Oppo Reno 14 series will mark a departure from previous Reno models by adopting a flat display, a design choice that enhances durability and usability. The move aligns with a broader industry trend as more manufacturers transition to flat screens for a more refined aesthetic. The inclusion of a metal frame further solidifies the phone’s premium feel while improving overall sturdiness.

Beyond aesthetics, Oppo is expected to introduce a periscope telephoto camera, a feature typically found in flagship models. Furthermore, the device is rumoured to offer full-scale waterproofing, suggesting that it may arrive with an IP68/69-rated chassis.

The Oppo Reno 14 series is anticipated to launch in the first half of 2025, with models likely including the Reno 14 and Reno 14 Pro. Pricing is expected to remain in line with the Reno 13 series, which started at 2,699 Yuan (~$370) for the base model and 3,299 Yuan (~$455) for the Pro variant.

While detailed specifications remain under wraps, the Reno 14 Pro may inherit or improve upon the Reno 13 Pro’s hardware. The latter featured a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 processor, a 6.83-inch display with 120Hz refresh rate, a 50-megapixel triple rear camera setup, and a 5,800mAh battery supporting 80W wired and 50W wireless charging.
